BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Police said one of three robbery victims in Beloit last night chased his assailant until he was confronted by a second suspect, who pointed a gun at him. Both robbery suspects were later arrested.
According to the Beloit Police Department, three people reported being robbed in the 1300 block of Nelson Avenue around 8:23 p.m.
Police said one of the victims chased the suspect onto Porter Avenue, where a second suspect pointed a gun at him before fleeing in a vehicle.
A Beloit Police officer located the suspect vehicle in a driveway in the 300 block of Locust Street and found the two suspects nearby. A firearm was recovered in the investigation and both men were arrested.
Richard Dixon, 19, was charged with strong armed robbery and disorderly conduct.
