SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Five, local nonprofits will receive donations from a chain store as part of its rewards program.

Every 90 days, Target hosts "Target Circle Community Giving." The program awards grants to all five selected nonprofits, with the total amount granted based on the number of votes each nonprofit receives.

For the upcoming contest, which runs from October 1 to December 31, five Siouxland nonprofits are in the running. Eastern Iowa Honor Flight, Food Bank of Siouxland, Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, TeamMates Mentoring Program, and YPN will receive grants.
