The Ottawa 67’s visit Slush Puppie Place on Friday night for the second time this fall, but effectively it’s the first time they’ll face off against the Kingston Frontenacs as we’re getting to know them.

The opener of the 2025-26 season featured the two teams back on Sept. 19, with Ottawa skating away with a 6-2 victory, that made for a wholly desultory evening for the 3,742 fans in attendance. The run of play might have even be more emphatic than the score suggests, with the visitors outshooting the home side 42-19 on the night. It was enough for those inclined for the maudlin to write off this as a rebuilding season in Kingston.
