NordicTrack rowing machines recalled after reports of fires

WASHINGTON — More than 44,000 NordicTrack rowing machines are being recalled because of a fire risk.

The recall , issued Oct. 16, 2025, affects specific models of the iFIT NordicTrack rowing machines manufactured between 2018 and 2022.

According to the notice, the rower's screen console can overheat and ignite. There have been eight reported incidents including two reports of fire, six reports of smoking or melting, and at least $6,000 in property damage. The recall says no injuries have been reported.

The recall involves model numbers NTRW19147.0, NTRW19147.1, NTRW19147.2, and NTRW19147.3. These black, gray and white rowing machines feature "NordicTrack" printed on the front legs and "RW900" on the back legs. The model number is printed on a decal attached to the rower base.
