Prince George’s County Public Schools are seeing another football team shake-up.

DuVal High School’s head football coach was suspended for the remainder of the season after the school district says an investigation found that multiple ineligible players participated in varsity games.

The Office of Interscholastic Athletics received an inquiry on Oct. 9 regarding the eligibility of one player, PGCPS said in a statement Thursday. An investigation then found multiple players were ineligible for reasons including:

“All athletes, coaches, and staff are expected to uphold standards that ensure fairness and integrity in interscholastic competition,” the statement said.

DuVal will forfeit all games in which ineligible players
