Your next DoorDash order could be delivered by a robot.

At least that’s the mission behind a new partnership between Waymo and DoorDash.

On Thursday, Oct. 16, the companies announced they would launch the testing phase of an autonomous delivery service in the Phoenix metro area , with plans to expand it more broadly later this year.
