ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — For this year’s Veterans Voices series, News 8 will be telling the stories collected while traveling on Honor Flight Rochester’s Mission 92, which took 55 veterans to monuments and memorials in Washington, D.C.

Those stories will begin airing next week.

This week, News 8 is going back in time to 2008 when reporter Meghan Backus and photojournalist Jay Gardner were invited on Honor Flight Rochester Mission 1.
