A Kitchener man and Guelph woman both lost their licence and had their vehicles impounded by the same officer following stunt driving charges in Guelph.

Guelph police said its traffic unit was conducting speed enforcement Wednesday afternoon at Wellington Street West and Imperial Road South when, at 4:50 p.m., an officer clocked a vehicle travelling 102 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

A 39-year-old Kitchener man was charged with stunt driving and speeding.

Just over an hour later, the same officer was patrolling near College Avenue West and the Hanlon Expressway when he clocked a vehicle travelling 107 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

A 62-year-old Guelph woman was charged with speeding and stunt driving.
