FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Who’s ready for some rain? This question often sparks mixed reactions, but these days there are more folks ready for a good downpour than usual!

Friday will be dry with increasing cloud cover and highs in the low 70s.

Through about sunset (which puts us at around 7 pm) the day looks dry, but warm with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. It will also get progressively windier with gusts up to 30 mph as early as 3 pm. But any plans that require dry weather are a go during the daylight hours!

The front will move in from our west at 7pm, meaning our western communities (Wabash/Huntington counties) will see the rain first. It could be moderate to heavy at times with rumbles of thunder. This front will spread the rain eastward as th evening and night progresses: 9-10
