BERWICK, Pa. — Ty’meere Wilkerson and the undefeated Berwick Bulldogs are rolling through opponents this season.
Berwick has clinched the Wyoming Valley Conference Division II title with an 8-0 record.
One big reason behind their success is the 6’1, 205 lb. running back in Wilkerson, who broke his own school record for most yards rushed in a single game, rushing for 390 yards and five touchdowns against Williamsport.
“It felt good. Like I had intentions like, yo, I'm gonna come in and try to break my record again against the same team,” said Wilkerson.
Wilkerson broke his record previous of 366 yards rushed en route to the Bulldogs 63-19 win.
Wilkerson transitioned from wide receiver to running back last season, a change that head coach, C.J. Curry, can’t understand why he didn’t make
