Phoenix Police detectives are investigating a family fight in north Phoenix Wednesday night that left one man dead, one in the hospital, and another behind bars.

Officers responded to a shooting call about 7:35 p.m. Oct. 15 at a home near 19th Street and Bell Road. When officers arrived, they found a teenage male who had a gunshot wound, and a man lying on the road also suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a release.

Witnesses told officers the suspect, 28-year-old Milad Rafie, left the area before police arrived, the release stated.
