A third suspect has been charged in the Montgomery mass shooting that left two people dead, and 12 others injured.
Javorick Whiting, 19, is charged with attempted murder, police announced Thursday. He was taken into custody by the Alabama Law Enforcement and booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
Additional details about Whiting’s alleged role in the Oct. 4 shooting in downtown Montgomery have not been released.
Police previously announced the arrests of 19-year-old Dantavious McGhee and an unnamed juvenile on charges of capital murder of two or more people, nine counts of first-degree assault, and three counts of second-degree assault.
Killed in the shooting were 17-year-old Jeremiah Morris, a standout student at Rise Academy, and 43-year-old Shalanda Williams
