(KRON) -- There was much excitement from the local community when Seafood City opened its first location in Daly City. Seafood City, which sells primarily Filipino goods, has filled the needs of the city's large Filipino community since it first opened in July.
Now, it's filling a not-so-expected need.
Seafood City is turning its grocery store into a nightclub with the "Late Night Madness" event that takes place on Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18 from 8 p.m. until midnight. The event is dubbed as a "Filipino Street Food Party," according to Seafood City's Instagram page.
Some of the street food options on the menu include "Lumpiang Shanghai Overload," "Kaboodles," "Screambol," and "Fireball with cheese." Several Bay Area DJs are slated to perform a set: DJ Cutso, DJ Jayou and DJ B
