The Palm Bay City Council voted Thursday night to censure Councilman Chandler Langevin for conduct unbecoming of an elected member and for improperly using the city of Palm Bay letterhead.

Residents criticized Langevin for organizing a gathering last month, which he called a "March for Charlie Kirk" along Malabar Road in Palm Bay.

"I'm hoping tonight still have the spine that you had two weeks ago, and you continue to do the right thing as far as Commissioner Langevin goes," said Kristen, a Brevard County resident. "The fact that he put the city on the hook for $25,000 for his little rally, the fact that he put our name out there to support a white nationalist and made it like the whole city was behind it, wrong."
