The battle for Saginaw Valley League-South supremacy reaches its pinnacle Friday night when the unbeaten Davison Cardinals (7-0, 3-0) travel to Don Batchelor Field to face the equally unblemished Grand Blanc Bobcats (7-0, 4-0) in a rematch of last October’s wild 55-49 Grand Blanc road victory.
The Cardinals posted their first shutout of the season with a 58-0 victory over Carman-Ainsworth last week. Senior quarterback Jaxson Dosh connected with three different receivers for touchdowns, including junior playmaker Tyanthony Lewis who also rushed for two scores.
The host Bobcats have been nearly impenetrable defensively, allowing six or fewer points in five of their seven contests, while lighting up the scoreboard behind senior quarterback Jake Morrow, who threw for five touchdowns
