After facing backlash for comments about a same-sex couple in Disney’s 2022 film “Lightyear,” Snoop Dogg is taking on what would have been thought to be an unlikely partnership.

The 52-year-old rapper has partnered with GLAAD, an LGBTQ advocacy organization, for its annual Spirit Day campaign and released a new children’s song and animated video featuring same-sex families.

Snoop collaborated with Jeremy Beloate, an openly gay former contestant from NBC’s “The Voice,” on a new song titled “Love is Love.” The track appears in a new episode of Snoop’s YouTube children’s series “Doggyland.”
