LOS ANGELES, Cali. (WFRV) - The Brewers are on the brink of elimination after dropping Game 3 of the National League Championship Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers, 3-1, on Thursday night.

The Brewers went out of the bullpen to start with Aaron Ashby on the mound, who allowed a leadoff triple to the slumping superstar Shohei Ohtani, who scored immediately on a Mookie Betts double as the Dodgers led 1-0 in the first inning.

Rookie Jacob Misiorowski took the mound after Ashby recorded just one out, as the flamethrowing right-hander pitched strongly for the next five innings.

The Brewers got a triple of their own in the second inning, courtesy of Caleb Durbin, who was brought in by Jake Bauers on a follow-up single.
