With a high pressure system bringing about very settled and warm weather, temperatures remain, for the most part, above average (average being ~68F) throughout next work week.
This being said, due to an increase in moisture and instability, the chance for storms (60%) emerges this weekend, with the SPC issuing a marginal risk for a majority of our viewing area. I am anticipating storms to fire through most of the morning and into the afternoon, bringing about the most rain we’ve seen in quite some time.
After the storms move through on Saturday, a cool down initiated by rain cooled air will aid in bringing temperatures closer to the average. Highs in the 60’s should persevere next week.
