A small plane crashed Thursday afternoon in Ingham County, killing all three people aboard, authorities said.
The plane went down around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Clark and Peacock roads, about 13 miles northeast of Lansing in Bath Township, according to a press release from the township.
Three people were on the plane, and each has been found and confirmed deceased, officials said.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident. Bath Township fire and police departments responded to the scene, along with other departments that provided mutual aid, according to the township.
