MONONA, Wis. (WKOW) – The first Topgolf in Wisconsin broke ground Oct. 16 in Monona, one of the first steps in building a new entertainment and recreation facility in the city. The Topgolf is set to open by early next fall.

Topgolf is known for its unique golfing experience that combines indoor and outdoor elements. Players can enjoy games or use it as a traditional driving range from a covered area.

Located by South Towne Mall, Monona's Topgolf will feature 72 bays, a restaurant, an outdoor patio and event spaces. The project is also expected to create more than 250 jobs.
