SHREVEPORT, La. - Lights, camera and creativity are taking over downtown Shreveport this weekend during Prize Fest 2025.

Prize Fest brings together filmmakers, musicians and food lovers for one of Louisiana's biggest celebrations of talent and storytelling.

"I always say this is like the Super Bowl of film for northwest Louisiana and really the nation, maybe even the world. This is a conglomerate of filmmakers and producers, directors and crew that come down to one sport to celebrate the Prize Fest weekend," said Shreveport Film Commissioner Wade Marshall.

Prize Fest brings together artists from around the world, but for filmmaker John Beach, it's a return home.
