DEWITT, Mich. (WILX) - DeWitt boys soccer took down Lansing Eastern 5-1 behind four goals from senior midfielder Carson Soltis in the district final at DeWitt High School on Thursday.

Soltis scored the game’s only goal in the first half to put DeWitt up 1-0 at halftime.

DeWitt took control in the second half, as Soltis scored three more goals on the way to a 5-1 win for the Panthers.

DeWitt advances to the regionals and will face the winner of Walled Lake Western vs. Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood at Fenton High School on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
