CINCINNATI — Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo grades each aspect of the Steelers’ 33-31 loss to the Bengals.
Quarterback
Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes and gave the Steelers a late lead, but a costly mistake late in the first half hovered over him for the entire game. Rodgers had avoided big mistakes that cost his team in the first five games of the season, but this interception led to a touchdown. A second interception a few minutes later wasn’t his fault, but the Bengals scored 10 points in the final five minutes of the half to seize control of the game. As well as he played at other times in the game, those miscues were the difference on a night his counterpart, Joe Flacco, did not turn the ball over.
