A Coventry man who appeared on MasterChef said his journey was 'amazing.' Gon Kaewkhrut starred on the latest series of the BBC show and impressed judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
Gon, 27, was born in Thailand but moved to Coventry when he was seven years old. He credited his love of cooking to his mother and enjoys recreating memorable moments that food has inspired.
Gon told CoventryLive that he thoroughly enjoyed his time on MasterChef and received high praise from the judges. He made it all the way to the quarter-finals and has since quit his 9-to-5 job to focus on his new food business, Gon Thai Kitchen.
