A former Strictly Come Dancing star has revealed that one couple could be safe from elimination this weekend thanks to performing a dance which 'saves people', while dealing another contestant a pre-show blow.

The 2025 run of the BBC One dance contest is gathering pace, with week four of the competition set to take place this Saturday (October 18) night.

Last weekend, fans watched as Strictly rolled out the red carpet on Saturday night (October 11) for the annual Movie Week special, with the likes of Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Thunderbirds and The Great Gatsby all brought to the famous ballroom floor.
