CINCINNATI — Move over Ben and make room for Aaron Rodgers.
Six weeks shy of his 42nd birthday, Rodgers passed former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for fifth place on the NFL’s all-time passing yards list.
With 249 yards in Thursday night’s game against the Bengals, Rodgers passed Roethlisberger, who had been in fifth place since his retirement in 2021 with 64,088 yards.
No. 5 is where Rodgers should finish his career. His former teammate in Green Bay, Brett Favre, is No. 4 on the all-time yardage list with 71,838 yards.
Rodgers is fourth in NFL history in touchdown passes with 517 after he threw four more against the Bengals. He needs 22 more to tie Peyton Manning (539) for third place.
