Steve McBee Sr., star of McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys , has officially been sentenced — and the reality isn’t pretty.

The 52-year-old reality TV patriarch was ordered to serve two years in federal prison on Thursday (Oct. 16), after being found guilty in a multi-million dollar crop insurance fraud case.

U.S. District Judge Stephen R. Bough also sentenced Steve to two years of supervised release following his prison term, and ordered him to pay back $4,022,124 in restitution, per USA Today .

The Charges

Steve pleaded guilty in November 2024 to one count of federal crop insurance fraud, admitting he submitted false crop yield reports in 2018 to Rain and Hail — a company reinsured by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation.
