FRISCO--- The Ford Center at The Star saw the latest round of District 5-5A Division I football get underway Thursday as undefeated Wakeland was the home team against Frisco who entered the contest at 4-1.

The next 48 minutes produced a symphony of a football game. Wakeland took a lead early, extended it just before halftime, a quiet third quarter exploded at the end and saw Frisco take their first lead in the fourth quarter but with just six seconds to go, Wakeland senior running back Braxton Cole scored from 1-yard out, securing the 35-28 win and remaining undefeated.
