Elon Musk's satellite internet venture Starlink has gone live on United Airlines flights, the airline announced on Wednesday, October 15. The in-flight internet service is free for the airline's MileagePlus members.
This makes United the first major US airline to offer Starlink's high-speed satellite internet to their mainline flights. The service has so far received positive reviews, stating one can watch videos and livestream without any hassle during the journey.
"Starlink Wi-Fi is already available on more than half of our regional fleet, and it’s rolling out on more planes every day. Free for MileagePlus members," the airline posted on X.
