Jerome Joseph Sachinski, 86, passed away on Oct. 10, 2025, at Rennes Health and Rehabilitation Center in De Pere, Wisconsin. Jerome was born on July 27, 1939, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the son of Mary (Weinandt) and Joseph Sachinski. He attended St. Josaphat’s Catholic School and graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1957.

He met Carol Wilmers while he was the manager of the Newberry Store in Calumet and they later married on Aug. 4, 1962, in Calumet.

Jerome was drafted into the Army in January 1963 and stationed at Fort Rucker, Alabama, where he proudly served his country. While there, they welcomed their first daughter, Maria (Eastman). After an honorable discharge from Fort Rucker, they resided in Escanaba, where they welcomed two more daughters Kristina (Karkkainen) and Kelly (Garland).
