A former golf champion has been told by a judge that she was "manipulative and bullying" during a bitter seven-year dispute with her tenants. Vivien Saunders OBE, best known for winning the Women's British Open in 1977, heard she had contributed 'more than minimally' to the death of one of her occupiers.
Saunders, 78, has been locked in a lengthy row with those living in luxury lodges on her land in Abbotsley, near St Neots in Cambs. She is the freeholder of the exclusive gated development which is home to a mix of houses and Norwegian log holiday lodges.
