Nestle has announced that they will cut approximately 16,000 jobs globally over the next two years in an effort to reduce costs, according to KWWL. It is unclear at this point if any of those cuts will happen at the Nestle plant in Waverly. The majority of the cuts, about 12,000, will impact white-collar professional while an additional 4,000 jobs will be cut in manufacturing and the supply chain to improve productivity.
