Jimmy Moore, known as Quebec's Taylor Swift, has captivated audiences with his elaborate performances that replicate Swift's Eras Tour. Over the past two years, Moore has staged a remarkable 3.5-hour show featuring backup dancers and 25 costume changes.

Moore describes himself as a celebrity impersonator. "I’m not there to create something new. People won’t see me show up in a yellow dress. I’m really there to copy her so people can have an immersive Taylor Swift experience," he said. His dedication to authenticity is evident in the effort he and his dancers put into each performance.

To date, Moore has performed his tribute show 30 times at Le Studio TD. He has scheduled additional performances on October 24 and 25, 2025, as well as January 3, 2026, and May 23, 2026, at the Beanfield Theatre. The show has proven to be a hit, drawing large crowds and enthusiastic responses.

Moore's journey as a performer began at a young age. He first became enamored with music through artists like Michael Jackson and Madonna. At 17, he started performing in drag shows, lip-syncing to Madonna songs. Over the years, he has impersonated various artists, including Céline Dion, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears. However, his focus shifted dramatically after attending Swift's Eras Tour in Las Vegas in March 2023.

"I saw the scope of what she was doing and I said, ‘Oh my god, this has to be my new project. I have to work on redoing this show,'" Moore recalled. He spent the rest of the year perfecting his tribute to Swift, which began with a single performance date at Cabaret Mado, a popular drag bar in Montreal.

The initial show quickly gained popularity, leading to long lines by December. "I said, ‘Damn, I did something good; I’ve started something,’" Moore said. His performances have continued to grow in popularity, and he plans to tour various cities in Quebec and New Brunswick next year.

In addition to his performances, Moore is set to release his second book, "Le Taylor Swift du Québec," on November 1. His first book, a memoir titled "Personnificateur," was published last year.

Reflecting on his success, Moore expressed his excitement about being recognized as Quebec's Taylor Swift. "It’s a big rush. I’ve been doing this métier for a long time. I’ve had big waves of success with other characters, but nothing like this," he said. "Often when I’m playing a big room, a Swiftie comes up to me and — I’m not making this up — many people cry. It’s emotional. It ends in hugs. I’m speechless. It shows that my impersonation is effective. What I’m doing does people good."
