If you didn’t make it to Toronto to see Taylor Swift last year — or even if you did and need another fix — there’s a homegrown alternative that won’t break the bank.
Jimmy Moore calls himself Quebec’s Taylor Swift, and rightfully so. Over the past two years, he has mounted an epic 3.5-hour performance, complete with backup dancers and 25 costume changes, that is a total recreation of Swift’s Eras Tour.
“I’m a celebrity impersonator,” Moore told The Gazette recently. “I’m not there to create something new. People won’t see me show up in a yellow dress. I’m really there to copy her so people can have an immersive Taylor Swift experience. It’s a lot of work for us; my dancers work as hard as me. Each song is a new tableau. It changes non-stop.”
Moore has put on the show 30 times at Le St
