Liam Payne’s sister has shared the ‘most heartbreaking truth’ one year on from the One Direction star’s death.

Fans around the world paid their respects to the singer on Thursday (October 17), which marked the first anniversary of Liam’s passing.

Liam tragically died at the age of 31 after suffering a fall from a hotel balcony in Argentina on October 16, 2014.

Rising to fame on ITV ’s The X Factor, where he formed One Direction with Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan in 2010, Liam also had a successful solo career.

Taking to Instagram with a lengthy post to reflect on 12 months without her brother , Liam’s sister Ruth opened up about how her grief left her feeling ‘paralysed’.
