DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Our springlike days are soon coming to an end, but the same cannot be said for our drought.

Cooler days await us, all thanks to a cold front that will arrive on Sunday.

Ahead of the front, we will remain warm, with highs Friday approaching the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies.

The same general pattern will continue into Saturday.

Ahead of the front, scattered showers and storms are possible, mainly during the morning and midday hours on Sunday. A few storms could be strong and produce gusty winds up to 40 - 50 mph, but severe weather chances remain very low.

The next workweek will be cooler and drier, with highs generally near 80 degrees and lows in the low 50s.

Limited rainfall is forecast over the next seven days, with a maximum of one-half inch expected. Wi
