Actor Parmeet Sethi, widely remembered for his role as Kuljeet in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), recently shared the untold story of how he landed the part. According to reports, Parmeet revealed that getting this iconic role was far from easy. Even after sending his VHS tape to Aditya Chopra, the legendary director initially chose another actor for the part.

“I was completely devastated. He told me that your vibes are very positive. I don’t think you’ll suit a negative role. I knew that he wouldn’t give it to me. I just kept thinking for two weeks; I couldn’t get it out of my head. I felt that this role was for me,” Parmeet said.
