A delegation of culinary professionals from 12 countries made the Treasure Valley home base for the earlier part of this week, as a “reverse trade mission” brought them to Idaho to learn about — what else — the potato industry.

Reverse trade missions, per the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, involve foreign delegations traveling to the United States in order to learn about and gain hands-on experience with American products.
