LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- A man was killed in a field tractor incident in Bennington Township Thursday evening.

According to the Shiawassee County Sheriff's Office, the 66-year-old operator of the tractor apparently fell from the tractor and became stuck while it was in motion.

Deputies say the man was pronounced dead on the scene after emergency responders performed life-saving efforts.

Shiawassee County Sheriff's Office says the deadly incident is under investigation.
