SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, MI – A 66-year-old Bennington Township man has died after falling from a tractor while it was in motion, according to police.

The Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at 6:08 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16 on Morrice Road near West Hibbard Road.

Police believe the man fell from the tractor and was struck while the tractor was still in motion.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation by the Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office.

SCSO was assisted by the Owosso Police Department, Michigan State Police, Owosso Township Fire Rescue, Perry Fire Rescue and the Shiawassee County Central Dispatch.
