MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEVV) — A woman is facing drug charges in Madisonville after a stop that happened Thursday.
Just before noon Thursday, police say they noticed a driver on I-69 who was following another driver too closely, before cutting off another driver and speeding in a work zone.
When officers stopped the car, they say 29-year-old Jamila Hill was in the back seat.
Officers say they could smell the odor of marijuana in the vehicle, leading to the discovery of a marijuana blunt during a search.
When police checked Hill's purse, they say they found they found a small bag of suspected MDMA/ecstasy and some cash.
MPD says that's when officers found a carrying bag, which had a large bag of suspected MDMA inside.
