KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- As evening storms are expected to push their way into the Kansas City metro, multiple high school football teams on both sides of the state line have moved their start times to account for the forecasted weather conditions.
On Friday morning, the first school to announce a time change was the Liberty Public School District (LPS). The district said two of its home games involving Liberty High School and Liberty North High School will have an earlier kickoff.
"Due to the forecast for inclement weather later this evening, game times for both the home games involving Liberty High School vs. Oak Park High School and Liberty North High School vs. Rockhurst has been moved up and will kick off at 6 p.m.," the school district said.
