FRISCO, Texas — Trevon Diggs will not take the field when the Dallas Cowboys host the Washington Commanders on Sunday, Oct. 19, per head coach Brian Schotteheimer, following news received from the team's medical staff on Friday morning.

"Trevon Diggs came in this morning with some concussion symptoms after having an accident in his home," said head coach Brian Schottenheimer. "He's been checked out by our doctors, and he's in the protocol, and we'll miss the game."

At this time, the nature of what caused the injury is unknown.

"We're gathering information," the Cowboys' head coach added. "I just got that information walking over from our doctors … but it happened last night."
