BALTIMORE —
Officer Gregory Bragg, a Baltimore police SWAT member, is preparing to run his first marathon next week, and it's all for a good cause.
"This is a goal or achievement that I wanted to reach for a very long time, and I finally got the courage to try it," Bragg told 11 News.
Bragg is focused not only on finishing the marathon, but also on his speed as he wants to raise as much money as possible as this year's Charity Chaser.
"Corrigan Sports will donate money for every person that I pass during the run, so I'll start in the back and just try to pass as many people as I can to try to raise as much money as I can," Bragg told 11 News.
The money will benefit the Signal 13 Foundation , a nonprofit that provides financial assistance to Baltimore Police Department personnel in n
