Aside from perhaps Stephen King, few other creators have earned the title “Modern Master of Horror” like John Carpenter. And the 77-year-old writer/director still has some scares left in him. According to The Hollywood Reporter , Carpenter is executive producing a new supernatural horror anthology series for Elevation Pictures, John Carpenter Presents . The first season of the series takes place in the remote wilderness of Alaska. It will focus on “A diverse group of characters facing a chilling mix of supernatural and existential terror.” The anthology series will explore “the hidden fears and social anxieties of our time.” Well, “our time” sure has plenty of those, doesn’t it?
