BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - A major healthcare provider in Southcentral Kentucky is ending its partnership with an insurance company.
Beginning Feb. 1, 2026, the Graves Gilbert Clinic and its parent organization, GGC Health, will no longer participate in Humana insurance programs, including Humana Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans.
According to the release, the decision follows months of negotiations and efforts to resolve contract and policy concerns that GGC leaders say have hindered patient access to care and created unnecessary administrative barriers.
“It is unfortunate that we are at this stage with Humana,” said Michael D’Eramo, CEO of GGC Health, in a release. “We have made every effort to find common ground, but Humana has remained unresponsive to our needs and, more import
