This was an injury that came out of nowhere: Trevon Diggs -- the star Dallas Cowboys cornerback who has played in all six of their contests thus far this year -- won't play on Sunday against the Washington Commanders due to a concussion.

That was the news from head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who said Diggs had -- per The Athletic's Jon Machota -- "an accident at his home [Thursday] night" and won't play Sunday.

What exactly happened? Per Fox 4: "When asked if Diggs fell, Schottenheimer said that he did not have any more information."

So, yes, there's a ton of speculation swirling, but we may not get an answer on this for a while.

There you have it (for now).
