The provincial government delivered housing and hope to Indigenous women and children on Friday.

Brantford Brant MPP Will Bouma and Perth Wellington MPP Matthew Rae announced $4.895 million in provincial funding for a new supportive housing project led by Brant Native Housing (BNH). Rae is a parliamentary assistant to Rob Flack, the province’s Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.

Plans call for construction of the 12-unit building to at 309 Campbell St. Brantford, to begin in April.
