As a rookie in the 2023 season, Puka Nacua did wonders for the Los Angeles Rams . He had 1,486 yards receiving and six touchdowns after drafted in the fifth round out of BYU.

Since that season, teams have been careful to defend him with more vigor. With the Rams shedding salary, they weren't able to keep Cooper Kupp, which opened up opportunities for Nacua in the slot.

After tearing up the Indianapolis Colts in a 27-20 Week 4 victory to the tune of 13 catches for 170 yards and a touchdown to give them their only loss, Nacua was hurt in an Oct. 12 game against the Baltimore Ravens. It was an ankle injury that saw him return to the field, but he clearly wasn't the same.
