VERSAILLES, Ky. (WKYT) — Woodford County Emergency Management Director Andrew “Drew” Chandler has been named the 2025 Emergency Manager of the Year by the International Association of Emergency Managers.

Chandler has led Woodford County Emergency Management since 2015, transforming the program into what county officials describe as a “model of excellence.” Under his leadership, the agency has strengthened preparedness, expanded capabilities, and fostered a culture of resilience that reaches beyond county lines, according to county officials.
